Welcome to the Athlete Registration Page for the 2018 United States Police & Fire Championships!
What began in 1967 as the “California Police Olympics” has grown into a nation-wide Olympic-style competition event drawing thousands of athletes representing law enforcement, firefighters, and officers from corrections, probation, border protection, immigration and customs from across the country in more than 50 sports and 30 different locations in San Diego County. There will also be shotgun events held in Clark County, Nevada.
Scheduled for June 2 – 9, 2018, The United States Police & Fire Championships have some incredible changes planned. This year we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting 13 sports at the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center (formerly the Olympic Training Center), we will host a Welcome Athlete Reception, and once again bring back our Sheriff, Chiefs and Special Agent in Charge Bean Bag Toss Showdown.
New sports include: Pickleball and Indoor Volleyball. New venues include: Clark County, Nevada for shotgun, City of Coronado for swim, and, of course, the Chula Vista Elite Athlete Training Center (formerly the Olympic Training Center).
So on behalf of the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers, we look forward to seeing you and your family in San Diego in this summer. Please do not hesitate to contact us, if you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to know where to find the best fish taco!
